The Federal HEMP Party
is on notice from the
Australian Electoral Commission
to confirm our membership exists!
The Federal Hemp Party, which would like to be in the Election
later this year, is under siege from the bureaucrats. They are
phoning and writing to members seeking confirmation of membership.
Don’t be paranoid, just confirm.
We’d love new members too. You must be registered in
Oz and fill out the form exactly the same as your current electoral
details. The form can be downloaded here,
and photocopied or printed for friends to join. Post
Completed Forms to the HEMP Party Secretary, G Askey (see below
for contact details ) No Joining Fee required.
We want to keep Cannabis Law Reform on the Australian political
agenda. Your membership can help.
* If you are already a HEMP Party member, and your
electoral roll details are not up to date, please update your
electoral enrollment, so your membership can be confirmed easilyby
the Electoral Commission.
Form available at Post Offices *

There isn't much time!!!
The AEC sent out letters seeking the confirmation of the HEMP
membership to twenty members selected at random, a sampling
method in accordance with the Electoral Act.
They expect 100% confirmation.
12 out of 20 responded.
The following people have been so far unable to be contacted.
Sharon Wickens
Vanessa Bryant
Aimee Burgess
Lilias Cotterell
Peter John Mathers
Miles Oakely
Lisa Simone
Wendy Annette Yates
If you know any of these people please request them
to immediately confirm their Electoral enrollment, and HEMP
Party enrollment and membership?
(Ever hopeful aren't we?)
The AEC have offered to either take another random sample of
twenty looking for 100% response again, or they are willing
to attempt to contact the entire membership database of over
1200 individuals to see if we have the requisite 500 valid confirmable
members.
We only have till the 19th of this month to update
or verify memberships.
After that date the Australian Electoral Commission
may begin to contact all registered HEMP Party members seeking
confirmation.
